The Market At DelVal

The  Market at Delaware Valley College in Doylestown is a great market for local goods.  The Market sells fresh grown produce, locally made wine, organic meats, and hormone free milk in glass bottles!  Di Bruno Brothers Cheese is also sold at the market currently at $3.99 (savings of $3.00).  A variety of events are held throughout the year.  My family has enjoyed Fall Hayrides, Strawberry Picking, Gingerbread House Making, Breakfast with Santa, and Santa’s arrival by helicopter.

From May 3rd until October 25th the Market hosts their Wine Concert Series, Friday evenings from 6-9pm.  You can enjoy great music while sampling locally made Rose Bank Wines.  The Market also sells Uncle Dave’s Homemade Ice Cream, which is always a hit with my kids.

Sign up for the Markets newletter and receive weekly announcements regarding their events and produce specials.  This week the Market has a number of vegetables on sale:

Tomatoes on the Vine: $0.99/lb

Cauliflower $1.99/each (2 for $3.00)

Broccoli Crowns $0.99/lb

Cucumbers 4 for $1.00

Shady Brook Farm Homegrown Cherry Tomatoes $2.99/pt

Last week I took advantage of the Market’s produce specials and came home with lots of delicious veggies for only about $5.00.
